Acceptable Use Policy.
This policy explains how NetNavi Cloud services should be used lawfully, safely and responsibly.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to customers, users and third parties using services supplied by NetNavi Cloud. It is intended to protect customers, platforms, networks, suppliers and the wider internet from misuse.
2. Lawful use
Services must not be used for unlawful activity or for hosting, transmitting, distributing or linking to material that breaches applicable UK law, regulation, court order or the rights of another person or organisation.
3. Prohibited activity
- Sending spam, unsolicited bulk email or abusive messaging.
- Operating phishing websites, credential harvesting pages or impersonation services.
- Distributing malware, ransomware, botnets, exploit kits or harmful code.
- Launching denial-of-service attacks or deliberately disrupting networks or systems.
- Attempting unauthorised access to accounts, servers, networks or applications.
- Hosting illegal content, copyright-infringing material or content that breaches third-party rights.
- Abusing shared resources in a way that affects other customers or platform stability.
- Running vulnerability scanning, penetration testing or load testing against systems without written permission.
- Using services for cryptocurrency mining, high-risk proxy services or anonymisation services unless agreed in writing.
4. Email and DNS
Customers are responsible for keeping mailboxes, forms, scripts and DNS records secure. Services must not be used to send spam, spoof mail, bypass reputation controls or misrepresent sender identity.
5. Security responsibilities
Customers should maintain secure passwords, patch applications, protect administrator accounts, remove vulnerable software and follow reasonable security guidance. Where NetNavi Cloud manages a service, responsibilities will depend on the agreed scope.
6. Investigation and action
Where misuse is suspected, NetNavi Cloud may investigate and may request information, restrict access, suspend services, remove harmful content or take other reasonable steps to protect the platform and other users. Urgent action may be taken without prior notice where required to reduce risk.
7. Reporting abuse
Suspected abuse relating to NetNavi Cloud services should be reported to Info@netnavi.co.uk with relevant logs, URLs, IP addresses, timestamps and a clear description of the issue.
